Have a 3D design made
No file yet? Your idea is worked out in CAD (design software for 3D parts) into a print-ready design, based on a sketch, photo or a few measurements.
You email the maker directly. See previous work.
-
01 You send
A sketch, photo or a few measurements, and what it is for.
For example a phone holder for your bike: the make and model of your phone, the diameter of the handlebar and a photo of the spot.

[03] Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does a 3D design cost?
That depends on the design work (how complex the shape is), the material and the print time. You get the price before the design work starts: the quote is free and you pay only after you approve.
What is needed to create a design?
A sketch, photo or a few measurements, and what it is for. The more measurements, the better. There is more in the guide from idea to 3D print.
Is the design printed as well?
Yes. Design and print come from the same maker, in the material that suits how it will be used.
Can a design also be printed as a batch?
Yes, as a prototype or as a small batch, with a price per piece.
Does my design remain mine?
Your design remains yours. Confidentiality (NDA) on request.
Do I get the 3D file?
On request, you get the CAD file (STEP) as well. Mention it in your request.
