[01] Service
Have a broken part recreated
Broken or no longer available? The part is measured, redrawn in CAD (design software) and printed again. Photos with a few measurements are enough. You can also post the part or drop it off.
You email the maker directly. See previous work.

01 You send
Photos and a few measurements via the form, or the part itself.

02 Making
The part is measured and redrawn in CAD.
Then printed in the material that suits how it will be used: indoors, outdoors, heat-resistant or flexible. Compare the materials.

[02] What to send
How do I measure and photograph it?
One photo next to a ruler is enough to start. If anything is missing, you will get a few questions by email.
Photos that help
- Overview The entire part, straight from the front.
- Break Close up: the fracture surface (where it broke).
- Fitted In place: where it sits and what it connects to.
- Ruler Next to a ruler or tape measure, so the size is visible.
Measurements that help
- L × W × H Length, width and height of the part.
- Holes The diameter of each hole, and the centre-to-centre distance between the holes.
- Mating part Also measure what it needs to fit into or onto.
No calipers? You can post the part or drop it off. You will receive the address by email after your request.
[04] Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to recreate a part?
That depends on the design work and the print. You first get a free quote and pay only after you approve.
Do I need to send in the broken part?
Photos with a few measurements are enough. You can also post the part or drop it off.
Does it work if the part is no longer available anywhere?
Yes, that is exactly when it helps. The part is redrawn in CAD, so no original file or spare part is needed.
Which material is used?
That depends on how it will be used: PLA indoors, ASA or PETG outdoors, ABS or ASA where it gets warm and TPU for flexible parts. Compare the materials.
What if it does not fit?
Then a solution is worked out together. What that is depends on the cause.
