Privacy statement

We handle your data with care. Here you can read which data we use and why.

Last updated: 15 October 2026. This is a translation; the Dutch version prevails.

Who is responsible?

3D-Shopper (sole proprietorship), Utrecht, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 89176731, is responsible for processing your data. Questions about privacy? Email info@3d-shopper.nl.

Which data do we use?

Only what you fill in yourself in the quote form:

  • your name and email address;
  • what you need and your description, and whether it concerns a batch or promotional items;
  • the quantity and the material, or where it will be used;
  • per 3D file: material, quantity, colour and a comment (colour and comment optional);
  • your company name, preferred delivery date and reference or purchase order number (optional, with any request);
  • a link to your file (optional);
  • files you upload: 3D files, photos or PDFs.

The 3D view runs in your own browser. Your files are only sent to us when you click "Send request".

Photos taken with a phone can contain location data. If you do not want that, turn off location in your camera app or remove that data before you upload.

What do we use it for?

To prepare a quote and to contact you about your request. We do not use your data for anything else and not for advertising.

On what legal basis?

You request a quote yourself. We process your data to carry out that request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For the spam protection (see below), the legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of the form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long do we keep it?

  • Your request and files are stored online in Cloudflare storage and are deleted there automatically after 90 days.
  • A request that you do not complete is deleted after about 1 day.
  • Files we have downloaded may then be kept locally at 3D-Shopper (not online) for as long as needed for the order or a repeat order. You can always ask for them to be deleted via info@3d-shopper.nl.
  • Does your request lead to an order? Then we keep your data for as long as needed for the order. We keep invoice data for 7 years, because tax law requires it.

Who sees your data?

Cloudflare provides the website, the storage, the email and the spam protection (Turnstile) for us. Your requests and files are stored in Cloudflare storage in the EU. The email with your request is sent to us. We do not sell your data and do not share it with others.

Turnstile only loads when you use the form. It looks at technical data, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, to recognise bots. We also limit the number of requests per IP address. We do not store your IP address with your request.

Cookies and tracking

We use no tracking cookies and no advertising. We do use cookieless, anonymous visitor statistics from Cloudflare (Web Analytics): they count visits without cookies and without recognising you as a visitor. There are no social media buttons or embedded videos on the site. The fonts come from our own server, not from Google. We do keep a draft of your quote request on your own device, in your browser's storage. That is what you have already filled in, including your name and email address, so you can continue later. The draft is not sent and disappears after sending, after 7 days or with the "Clear" button.

Your rights

You may ask us for:

  • access to your data;
  • correction of your data;
  • deletion of your data;
  • restriction of processing;
  • a copy of your data to take elsewhere (portability).

You may also object to the processing. Email us via info@3d-shopper.nl. We respond within the legal period of one month. We may first ask you to confirm who you are.

Not satisfied? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

The site uses HTTPS. Your files are kept in private storage. Download links are signed and expire automatically. A Content Security Policy limits which code the site may load.
